Welch Road construction update

Construction work on the Welch Road Utility Project has shifted from the inboard side of Welch to the outboard side. Construction is now progressing between the Stanford Barn and 1180 Welch. The street remains a one-lane, one-way road from Quarry Road to Pasteur Drive while the work is under way. Pedestrians should be mindful of detours on the outboard sidewalks.

For access to buildings at 730, 750 and 770 Welch, drivers should continue to use the driveways from Vineyard Lane until the utility project is completed in fall 2013. Once the utility work is done, Welch Road will return to a two-lane road with traffic access in both directions.
