Healthy weight program for kids

Concerned about a child’s weight? The Pediatric Weight Control Program at Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital Stanford can help.

The program helps children ages 8 to 15 and their families develop lifelong healthy habits and encourages kids to change the way they see themselves. Eighty percent of children participating in the classes reach age-appropriate weights.

Enrollment is open now for classes, offered in both English and Spanish. At least one parent or guardian must participate. For more information, call 650-725-4424 or go to http://weightcontrol.stanfordchildrens.org.edu. Pre-registration is encouraged.
